DAHOR

Our Craft

Nine artisans. Forty-two steps. One bag.

Every DAHOR piece is made in our Dhaka atelier, where traditional saddlery discipline meets a modern architectural eye.

Hide Selection

Only the top 5% of full-grain vegetable-tanned hides pass our inspection table — no corrections, no coatings, no shortcuts.

02

Hand Cutting

Each panel is cut by hand along the grain direction so the bag holds its architecture through years of wear.

03

Saddle Stitching

Two needles, one waxed thread. A saddle stitch will not unravel even if a single stitch is cut.

04

Edge & Hardware

Edges are sanded, sealed and burnished four times. Hardware is solid brass, brushed to a soft gold sheen.

Hardware

Weight you can feel in the hand

Solid brass buckles, milled D-rings and custom-engraved DAHOR plates — never plated zinc. Each fitting is set by hand and pressure-tested to 12kg.
